Tom... Collins

I like my drinks like I like my men. Tall and juicy.

So then why do I find it so hard to find the right version of deliciousness when I am out in public?

Last night I ordered a Tom Collins twice at the bar.

The 1^st time was some variation of a lime overloaded with sugar.

The 2^nd was a cherry garnish with even more cherry flavoring.

I should have known better to order a basic well from a place that sells Pabst.

But in the future if you want to impress me pour me a real Mr. Collins.

50ml Bombay Sapphire Gin

25ml Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

15ml Sugar Syrup

Soda Water

Fill a 350ml Collins glass with ice then pour the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE over the ice followed by the ingredients. Top with soda water.

Garnish with a lemon slice.

I swear I will love you forever ormaybe until the drink is up. ;)
